Container Gardening Ideas: Hot Tub Used as Tomato Planter!

When you're thinking about how to grow tomatoes, then you probably think of the usual options.

At the same time, you may have one eye on that old hot tub that your other half suggested would spice up your love life, think to yourself, "It never gets used anyway..." and seize an opportunity to be creative!

Yes, that's exactly what this tomato gardener did. It looks to me as though they planted a bunch of veggies in their container hot tub thing, and just hoped for the best.

What a success, it's "bubbling" with healthy-looking plant life.

There is a nice bunch of tomatoes, ready for harvest, growing at the right of the hot tub, a whole heap of (to me) unidentifiable cover plants that could be herbs, and what looks like a squash, pumpkin or zucchini plant growing dead center (watch out! That will take over if you're not careful).

I love this idea. I never got the hot tub thing in the first place. Great concept.
