Container Gardening Ideas: Old Toilet Used as Planter!

If you're not feeling "flush", then the next time you spy an old toilet by the side of the road,
think about incorporating it into your container garden...
This is the ultimate in recycling. After a
lifetime spent dealing with a family's waste, this John now revels in beautifying their yard.
This might not
be the most politically sound way to win friends and influence neighbours, but if you don't "give a crap" about
what people think of you, then we cannot think of a better place to plumb in a few flowers.
The red and
green leaves are Caladium, which are really beautiful against the pure
white porcelain.
The long, purple spidery-looking plant is Phormium. It looks a lot like the spider plants my
grandmother used to grow, only on a bigger scale, and deep crimson.
I can't identify the tall green ones
from this picture. They look kind of like stinging nettles, but I'm sure they aren't! Any ideas, plant
experts?
